Another classic and standard for our operation is red oakleaf lettuce. It's small shaped leaf size is perfect for salads, sandwiches and bowls. A smooth flavor just like all our lettuces, it's a great addition to your menu.
With proper care, it stays crisp and vibrant for 2+ weeks — far longer than store-bought greens. To store, simply keep the roots attached and cover or contain the head to protect it from the dry air of your fridge. Remove leaves as you eat, and enjoy fresh, living lettuce all week (and beyond).
