From Blackbear'd Ranch: The naturally beautiful and undeveloped Myakka Prairie comes the same native wildflower honey the Calusa’s and first explorers on La Florida called ‘liquid gold’. We are fortunate enough to have a large enough ranch to allow our raw honey to be sourced PURELY from our native habitats; our bees do not leave the ranch.
We wanted a variety of honey where we knew where it came from. Our bees gather nectar from the native plant communities at Blackbeard’s, they are located in the interior of the ranch; the ranch boundary lines are well outside the natural range of bees. You can be certain that our honey is from our ranch. No pesticides, herbicides or chemicals touch our bees food sources.
